About MeI have been teaching since 2008. The first seven years I taught in Hardin County and the remaining years I have been in Bullitt County at Brooks Elementary. I did my student teaching at Brooks and and knew then this is where I wanted to be.
I received my Bachelor's Degree at the University of Louisville in Elementary Education. My Master's Degree is in Teacher Leadership. I have my Rank I through Bellarmine University in Administration as a Educational Specialist. I am married to John and we have three sons, Ryan, Brandon, and Justin (Summer). We don't have any grandbabies yet but we have four granddogs, Gracie, Ollie, Hooper, and Herbie. We also have three dogs of our own, Smoke, Ginny, and Queenie. My favorite things are camping, boating, reading, acting, scrapbooking, kayaking, playing games with my family, all things Peanuts, Harry Potter and Marvel, going to church and spending time with my friends. I believe everyone should always have a bucket list of things they are working toward achieving and some of mine are riding in a hot air balloon (which I am going to do this fall thanks to Mr. Green in our cafeteria) and a helicopter, traveling the Eastern Coast of the US and traveling across Europe. |
